Personal Assistant Wanted for Friendly Disabled Woman
Hello! I'm a woman aged 51 living with multiple sclerosis. I'm looking for a self-employed personal assistant to help me stay independent.
About the job: You would help me with tasks and join me for activities. This includes:
• Helping me keep my flat tidy, clean and organised (i.e. moving papers and boxes).
• Taking me shopping
• Helping me understand important letters I receive
• Helping me look after my cats
• Taking me to activities
• Helping me get to medical and other appointments.
About me: I would like to try new things, and I would like to try and stay active even though I sometimes need help. My cats are very important to me.
What I'm looking for:
• Someone honest, reliable and flexible with a full driving licence and own car
• A person who is easy to talk to and doesn't mind spending time with me
• Someone with patience, empathy and happy to help me when I am weak and slow
• Someone who is physically fit, mature and a good problem solver
• Experience with cats is preferred
• Knowledge about multiple sclerosis is helpful, but not required
Job details:
• Up to 10 hours a week
• Work hours between 11am and 6:30pm, any day of the week
• £15 per hour
• You must have the right to work in the UK (I have to check this)
