The Role

Tameside’s Operations and Greenspace Service is seeking to recruit a Bereavement Services Manager. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Greenspace you will be responsible for the direct management of the administration team and for providing support to both the crematorium and cemetery operational teams. You will be responsible for a range of administration and financial duties including overseeing statutory functions and budgeting. Leading key projects aimed at continuous improvement and ensuring the delivery of a first-class Bereavement Service.

Part of your role will also be advising the Executive Cabinet and Senior Leadership Team on all matters relating to service processes and improvements.

Are you experienced in working in Bereavement Services? Do you have the skills needed to meet the challenge of leading and managing our Cemeteries and Crematorium service?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead our highly skilled Bereavement Team.
