Summary
Print Operative
Kenect Recruitment are working with a prestigious client based in the DE65. Due to moving to a brand new site and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Print Press Operator on a permanent bases.
Rates of Pay: £14.50 - £29 p/h + paid breaks with regular pay reviews.
3-week rotating shifts 06:00 - 14:00 - 14:00 - 22:00 and 22:00 - 06:00
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operates printing press
- Reviews job requirements to understand the scope and parameters of print jobs.
- Prepares, aligns, and configures machinery, ink, rollers, and paper.
- Inspects proof sheets to evaluate the quality of printing.
- Adjusts press machinery to meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintains inventory of supplies needed to operate printing presses.
- Troubleshoots issues with printing press and makes basic repairs.
- Performs routine maintenance on presses.
- Informs supervisor of problems with equipment or materials.
- Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.
- Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
