Summary

SEN Coach (Full-Time, Term-Time) - Nescot College

Location: Nescot College, Ewell
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (37.5 hours per week)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Closing Date: 29th October 2024

We are seeking a full-time SEN Coach to support students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities while they are engaged in work experience or supported internship programmes.
- Provide tailored support to individuals or small groups within the workplace.
- Use initiative to help students develop essential employability skills.
- Visit host employers and coordinate workplace visits for internships.
- Monitor the wellbeing of students in the workplace, ensuring a positive experience.
- A motivated, organised, and inspirational individual who can effectively support students.
- Previous experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN/D).
- A "can-do" attitude with a strong belief in the ethos of the programme.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a good understanding of business practices.
- A flexible, energetic approach to supporting students both in and outside of the workplace.

Some employers may be based locally, while others may require travel with the students to their work placements. You will be responsible for accompanying students to their workplace and back to Nescot.
