Summary
Security Officer
Mon to Fri - 60 hours pw
Pay Rate: £14.07
Location: Farnborough
Core Duties include:
Delivering an effective and professional security service with all staff and visitors on site.Working together in a large team of Security Officers and 4 Team Leaders.Report to the Team Leader on duty and Site Security Manager providing crucial updates and data.Liaise with a variety of stakeholders including the head of site and their staff.Complete and maintain regular reporting duties including an effective shift handover.Patrolling the site via site vehicles (day and night) along with on fitt internal patrols, reporting any significant risks or damage.
Working in a control room environment monitoring CCTV, Intruder, Fire, Panic and building management systems (BMS).Escorting VIP's and government services on and off site at short notice if required.Issuing of building keys and hire cars.Ensuring all duties performed are in line with the Assignment Instructions and GSSOR.
Reporting any Health and Safety concerns and observations to Mitie and the customer as they come in.
First Aid confident for immediate responses.
The successful applicants will need to:
Be a UK passport holderHold a front-line SIA license (SG, DS or CP) with First Aid At Work certificateHold a UK Driving License (Manual)Be willing to undertake SC ClearanceUndertake the signing of the Official Secrets Act 1989Use Microsoft programmes such as Outlook, Word and ExcelBe available to work days, nights and weekendsSpeak fluent EnglishBe presentableLead by exampleCommunicate clearly and professionally at all levels
