TU Online Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Teesside University with a dedicated focus on providing flexible online learning opportunities across a range of Teesside University courses.

TU Online Ltd is looking for an Online Programmes Manager, to ensure course items such as reading lists etc and assignment briefs are present, correct and consistent. To act as a contact and liaison for Associate Deans Learning and Teaching and Course teams. To manage and support TUOL Tutors in their teaching - aligned to agreed teaching patterns and structure, and to support online course quality reflecting benchmark best practice.

Successful applicants will hold a relevant qualification and have experience in teaching in higher education, 100 percent online learning pedagogy and principles, and curriculum design / understanding.

You will be expected to manage multiple projects and work across TU Online Ltd and Teesside University to ensure online course content and documentation is of a benchmark quality for online students and fit for purpose.

The role would suit an individual with experience of supporting online course approval events, who is a confident manager of a growing team and experienced in managing projects across departments and functions.

You will be expected to help to support, train and guide Schools in relation to online course content creation / structure and work with academic registry to review academic regulations and assess impact to ensure teaching aligns with regulations and accreditation.

You must be committed to student-centred learning with an appreciation of how adults learn and will have the ability to support students from diverse educational, cultural and work backgrounds.
