19.25 hours per week
2pm-8pm shift patterns, alternate weekends
Join the team at Longridge Hall, a warm and welcoming residential care home located in Longridge. At Longridge Hall, we strive to create a homely environment for our residents, offering unique spaces such as a reminiscence lounge, a chapel, and even an indoor sensory garden! Our experienced Care Home Manager, Tracey, has been with us for over 10 years and is dedicated to fostering a supportive and positive atmosphere for both residents and staff.
We are currently seeking Care Practitioners to help provide exceptional, person-centered care to our residents. You’ll be contributing to a nurturing environment where each resident can thrive, staying as active and independent as possible while receiving the care they need.
Responsibilities as a Care Practitioner include:
Participating in any required training
Assisting residents with personal care, hygiene, meals, and daily activities
Offering emotional support and companionship
Encouraging residents to engage in activities that reflect their hobbies and preferences
Upholding high standards within the care home environment
Collaborating with the team to meet residents' needs

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Requirements:
A friendly, compassionate attitude with a positive approach to care
A genuine interest in the health and social care field—experience is a plus, but not required
Flexibility to work varying shifts based on residents' needs
Reliable transportation or the ability to commute to Longridge
