Summary
Job OverviewJoin our team as a QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) Advisor and make a significant impact in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, health, and environmental practices.
As a QHSE advisor, you'll minimize risks for Mitie companies and our clients by ensuring compliance with legislation and codes of practice. You'll provide guidance, training, and support to operational managers, conduct assessments, investigate incidents, and manage insurance claims. Collaborating with the regional manager, attending meetings, and promoting communication forums are crucial.
We are seeking a candidate who can represent the QHSE Senior Manager in their absence and perform ad hoc duties as required. Strong written English and good verbal communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel is necessary, along with the ability demonstrate initiative and work independently. Qualifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent, experience in industrial work and working at heights, and knowledge of risk assessment and management are preferred though not essential.
