Summary

The Strategic Reward & Insight Team comprises a Strategic Lead, two Workforce Analysts, and the Reward and Insight Associate. The team is responsible for the production of workforce reports, liaising with customers and stakeholders to ensure their data requirements are met and that the data provided is accurate and easily understood. This is a small, busy team that is crucial to both Councils being able to submit statutory returns on time, monitor compliance with data about the composition of our collective workforce, and making sure that workforce related Freedom of Information requests are collated and responded to on time. The team uses iTrent and Business Objects to deliver interesting and varied work. As well as producing a range of people reports, the team lead on benchmarking exercises to help design employee benefits packages, provide data that is used to inform strategic decision making, and submit several large workforce returns each year, which includes the Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set, and the Children’s Social Worker returns.
Relationship building is an important aspect of working in this team as conversations are held with internal and external stakeholders to help understand their requirements, and create reports that meet their needs.

About Us
We are an award winning HR Shared Service, because people are at the heart of everything we do and our service is very proud to have won the PPMA Award for Best Candidate Experience earlier this year. About You
As the Reward and Insight Associate, you will be supporting the team by gathering data and coordinating responses to FOI requests, attending meetings with a range of customers to better understand their requirements, liaising with the wider HR team and taking part in projects to offer data insight that is key to developing new initiatives and people processes. Your excellent attention to detail will help you to accurately input, maintain and analyse data, whilst your passion for using data to help streamline services and make improvements, will put you in good stead to add value to the Strategic Reward & Insight team, and the wider work of both Councils. If you are highly organised, a good communicator, keen to expand your data analyst skills in a HR setting, a good team player, and take pride in doing a good job whilst meeting deadlines, we would welcome an application from you.
