Summary
For this year, we are looking to expand our team of tutors who provide 1:1 and small group support to students across Derby and the surrounding areas.
We work closely with Local Authorities and Schools (both mainstream and SEN) to ensure every student receives the individualized support they need to achieve both their personal and academic potential.
We are looking for tutors who can provide core and/or specialised subject support in Maths, English or Science. Successfully appointed tutors will be delivering anywhere from 2 to 30 hours per week, during the academic year.
Experience, training and qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 2 years tuition experience
Ability to teach at least 1 or all of the core subjects
SEN experience
Kind, caring and compassionate nature, with the proven ability to re-engage students with learning
Enhanced Child DBS registered on the update service
Safeguarding and Prevent training - can be provided by Prospero
