Summary

Role: Support Worker - You need to be able to work 36 hours, as this is a MAT Leave position. This will have potential to lead to a permanent position.

Salary: £12.25 per hour temporarily for 6 months and then £11.75 per hour after that.

United Response is Hiring! We are looking for a brilliant Support Worker to join one of our supported living services in Chesterfield on temporary basis of 36 hours per week. This position will be maternity cover.

The role of a Support Worker

The role of Support Worker is a varied one which involves putting the people we support at the centre of everything we do, your job may involve helping with jobs around the house, monitoring the wellbeing of the people we support or assisting them to access their community.

What we need from you

The desire to help improve the lives of others and a willingness to learn are the main ingredients for making a great Support Worker. We don’t ask for specific experience as we will provide all the training and support you need to carry out the role of Support Worker in a person-centred way.

This service does require applicants to hold a full drivers licence to enable you to support people and meet their specific needs.
