We are looking to recruit a 24-hour Accuracy Checking Technician to work at our 487-branch located at 128 Hulme Hall Road, Cheadle, SK8 6LQ
The working hours are:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm (60 minute lunch break each day)
Brief Role Description
As an Accuracy Checking Technician Supervisor you will have successfully completed the NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. You will have the knowledge and experience to be a multi skilled Dispensing Technician, taking responsible for providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers, with specific responsibility for carrying out dispensing duties.
You will be a senior member of the dispensing team and will be responsible for receiving, assembling and dispensing prescriptions, advising customers on alternative medicine or care needs where appropriate. You will also have specific accountability for dealing with complex medication enquires on behalf of and under the supervision of a pharmacist.
As a trusted healthcare professional, you will be friendly, organised and customer focused with a real passion for people and pharmacy operations. Skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are all key in this position.
To assist the manager in the smooth running of the branch you will be expected to undertake supervisory activities, such as delegating the workload and managing the team.
This role would be suited to someone who:
