About you:
Are you a highly skilled and experienced General Radiographer (Band 6) seeking a locum opportunity in Wales? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled General Radiographer (Band 6) to support our client with their plain film and general radiography needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake X-ray examinations as an operator under indirect supervision of more senior member of staff.
- To justify medical exposures using the Department's IR(ME)R Examination Protocols to ensure a safe effective x-ray service to all patients.
- To produce a good quality diagnostic image whilst keeping the radiation dose as low as is reasonably practicable.
- To assess and treat a workload of patients whilst maintaining a high standard of care to all patients and staff.
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced General Radiographer (Band 6) with:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Radiographer.
- At least six months recent NHS experience.
- Must have Right to work in the UK.
