Summary

Are you a caring individual living in the Reading area looking for a role where you can give back to those living in your community? We are recruiting for Support workers to join our the team in Cedar Court.

Cedar Court is an extra care sheltered housing scheme, comprising of 40 one-and two-bedroom flats. It is situated just off the Basingstoke Road and a 5 minute drive from the Oracle Shopping Centre. Cedar Court offers the benefits of an on-site restaurant, therapy room, hair salon and an assisted bathroom for tenants who wish to use these services. There is also a large communal lounge where tenants can take part in activities if they choose. The gardens offer ample space, including a roof top terrace and a ground floor patio area which are wheelchair accessible

What will I be doing as a Support Worker?

As a Support Worker you will be working with residents to live independently within the service and local community by

• Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing etc..
• Supporting with medication administration
• Supporting with meal preparation
• Supporting with accessing the local community e.g., Shopping, activities, trips
• Supporting with day-to-day household duties
• Supporting with any other day routines our clients have

Shifts Available

The successful candidate would need to be able to work the following shift patterns as well as alternate weekends.

0700 - 1500

1500 - 2200

1600 - 2200
