Summary
Are you a caring individual living in the Portsmouth area looking for a role where you can give back to those living in your community? We are actively seeking a caring individual to join the team as a Support Worker in Maritime House.
Located in Portsmouth, Hampshire, Maritime House has 80 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible. Maritime House is situated just 1 mile from the centre of Portsmouth, and has great transport links with nearby buses, as well as Hilsea train station and the M27 motorway close by. Residents benefit from easy access to nearby shops and restaurants but can also enjoy on-site facilities including a lounge, dining area, hairdressing salon, and garden.
What will I be doing as a Support Worker?
As a Support Worker you will be working with residents to live independently within the service and local community by
• Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing etc.
• Supporting with medication administration
• Supporting with meal preparation
• Supporting with accessing the local community e.g., Shopping, activities, trips
• Supporting with day-to-day household duties
• Supporting with any other day routines our clients have
Shifts Available
07:00 - 14:00 | 07:00 -13:30 | 16:30 - 22:00 | 17:00 - 22:00
Rate of pay
£11.64 Monday - Friday
£11.94 Weekends
