Summary
The post holder will bean active participant in the New Hospitals Programme,Clinical work stream team,in developing robust evidence for standardising clinical design.
Clinical registration is required for this position.
The post holder will contribute specialistexpertiseto therobust clinical review and clinical authority sign offprocessesfornew hospitalswhich will include (not exhaustive list)
• Reviewing evidence and formulating reports
• Clinical output specificationsincluding detailed activity and task lists
• Assurance of Clinical Business cases
• Review of clinical strategies
• Clinical benefits review framework
• Ongoing evaluation of physical / clinical / operational/ equipmentstrengths and weaknesses of designs
• Workforce modelling
Search for robust evidenceandidentifygaps in knowledge to inform clinical design and / or operational standards.
Provideexpertisein the following areas as a Subject Matter Expert:
• Infection prevention and control
Contribute to thelearning culture in the team to enable iterative plan development to enhance the patient environment in theNewHospitalProgramme
Contribute toa clinical best practice network of recent new builds and hospitals that are on the program to share, learn and improve.
