Summary

What is the job role?

Fixed Term for one year (with a view to a permanent opportunity thereafter)

As a General Assistant, duties include:

• Help prepare and cook meals for pupils,

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness

• Serving food

• Be aware of pupils' dietary needs and allergies,

• Serving food,

• Working in the Central Dish Wash and Pot Wash if required,

• Putting away deliveries,

• Working with managers and supervisors to ensure high-quality food delivery

• Any other Catering Duties as required.

Who are we looking for?

Essential requirements include good people skills, a passion for food and customer service, teamwork abilities, effective communication whilst ensuring high levels of hygiene are maintained within the kitchen.

Previous experience and Food Safety Level 2 certification would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.

Working 10 hours a week, two hours per day, Monday - Friday, 11.30am-1.30pm Term Time only, this role could be ideal to fit in around your caring responsibilities.
