Summary
This new full-time post is available from the 6th of January 2025 on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
We are recruiting for a newly revitalised Academic Skills Team, based in the library. We have some exciting new posts available for skilled professionals as well as aspiring Academic Skills specialists, looking for an opportunity to develop or enhance their capabilities. We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with keen and wide-ranging interests in supporting development of academic/digital skills.
The postholder for this role will work closely with others in the Academic Skills team to support students to develop and enhance the skills they need to succeed in their studies and in the workplace. With all the activities aligned closely to the University’s Access and Participation Plan, the team achieves this via teaching, supporting individuals and leveraging technology to provide up to date and impactful pedagogy.
