Summary

Job Title: CAD/BIM Technician

Department: Estates and Facilities, Estates Operations

Grade: Grade 6

Salary range:  £30,505 - £36,924

Working arrangements: Full time (35 hours per week) primarily Monday to Friday

There may be a requirement to work evenings and weekends, depending on business need

Hybrid working (minimum of three days per week onsite, depending on business need, following the initial induction/ training period, which will be full time onsite)

The Role and Department

As CAD/BIM Technician, you will support the Space Management team in the updating and production of AutoCAD drawings and Revit Models, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date and reflect any changes across the University estate.

Integral to this role will be identifying and gathering information from a variety of sources to ensure record drawings show the latest information. This may include the need to conduct low-level onsite surveys of spaces and assets.

You will also contribute to the design, development and technical delivery of projects and achieve enduring results.

The Estates and Facilities Directorate provides essential services to Durham University and is responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the infrastructure and building fabric of the various campuses.
