Counsellor and Wellbeing Therapist (Job Ref 24-53)

Salary - £26,963 per annum pro rata
Part time - up to 30 hours per week available
Based in Barnstaple
Fixed-Term Contract until 31/03/2025


Passionate about the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people?
Think you can make a difference to young people by listening and supporting them to move forward?

Be part of the team in our Young Devon Barnstaple YES (Youth Enquiry Services) centre, an open access drop-in where young people can seek support and access to services.

Deliver a range of therapeutic services to young people (aged 11-25), including Wellbeing groups and individual counselling interventions. Build effective relationships, listen well, and respond to a range of individual needs through quality interventions, reflective practice and a learning mindset.

At Young Devon we are committed to making a difference for young people. This is a new and exciting opportunity to bring your skills and knowledge to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people within Devon.
