And guess what? We have an exciting new position available for an Information Digital Officer to come aboard and join us on this incredible journey!
We are investing in digital capabilities, new partnerships, new infrastructure, and in development of an organisation wide information architecture. To secure the best outcomes we are seeking to enhance tooling and most importantly to invest in and further develop our people. Everything we are doing is for one purpose, to deliver our commitments to the wider Council Plan.
As an Information Digital Officer, you will act as a lead professional for the use of a subset of digital tools and specific systems configuration.
Working through agile methodologies and with effective oversight and control of the technical solutions, you will undertake the analysis, design, development and automation of various digital interactions.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrable analytical skills, including gathering and defining requirements, business process mapping, workflow mapping, and benefits realisation/mapping.
- Strong problem-solving skills with appreciation of business architecture, delivery management, and IT&D solutions design.
- Attention to detail in written and numerical contexts, with broad awareness of common technology concepts.
- Ability to oversee and manage small programmes of technology change within a one-to-three-month time horizon.
- Contribute to monitoring and benchmarking of processes and systems to deliver efficiency savings.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with technologists, service managers, stakeholders, and end users/customers.
- Self-starter with ability to measure workload and priorities to ensure timely deliverables.
- Capability to make judgements around quality/timing and negotiate with IT Services stakeholders and customers.
