Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an S&OP Analyst to join our team in Colwick, Nottingham. Hillarys are part of the Hunter Douglas group, so as a fast-growing company this role has become available to offer the successful applicant the opportunity to further their career.

Working as part of the Supply Chain team, the S&OP Analyst will have responsibility for evolving the S&OP Process. Improving key performance metrics across the business, including forecast accuracy, inventory control, and operational efficiencies. Championing cross-functional engagement with core departments and business leaders you will facilitate each S&OP meeting to ensure business alignment and successful delivery of the plan. The S&OP Analyst is responsible for producing consolidated reports that are fit for purpose in a matrix organisation and presented in a user-friendly way.

S&OP Analyst Key responsibilities:


Support the overall S&OP Process through cross functional collaboration, including regular meetings to coordinate, review and update forecasts, inventory levels and production plans.
Review and analyse forecast vs actual demand, ensuring capacity and demand deviations are understood and managed effectively.
Monitor forecast accuracy, planning data integrity, and overall S&OP performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Develop and implement S&OP best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support implementation of new forecasting tool.
Work with the Material Controllers and Product Managers to monitor inventory levels and support inventory optimisation.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align production schedules with sales forecasts and inventory plans.
Track KPIs related to volume forecast, stock, production, and warehouse capacities.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the wider Supply Chain teams, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between all departments.


Interested in the role? Here’s what we’re looking for:


2-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or execution of S&OP related processes
Preferably worked in an environment of both manufactured and sourced finished goods
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills
Great relationship building skills across a range of stakeholders.
Strong knowledge and experience working with SAP ERP System
Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
