Summary

Job Title: Process Operative
Location: Melmerby, North Yorkshire, UK
Role Type: Initially an 8-month Fixed Term Contract
Shift Pattern: 12 on 12 off over 4 days. Monday to Thursday 6 to 6 - 48 hours in total
The process operative plays a vital role in achieving the overall business objective by responsibly managing process of animal feed. The role contributes to maintaining feed safety through thorough understanding and adherence to processes and actions.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure you are working to meet our standard procedures, on paper or on the computer.
• Switch out dies and tweak rollers when needed.
• Take charge of your cleaning tasks to keep the workspace clean.
• Run checks on our products to make sure they meet the required standard. If something doesn’t look right, make the operations manager aware.
• Be ready to cover your colleagues during holidays or sick days.
• If you have new ideas on how we could do things better, please make us aware.
• Ensure that you follow the health & safety procedures.
About you:
• Previous experience in Manufacturing, ideally in a food or feed environment
• Experience of adhering to quality standards
• Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
• Good IT skills

This role will be located onsite at Melmerby (HG4 5HP)
