Contract: Full and Part time positions available (shift times 7am to 2.30pm / 2.30pm to 10pm)

As a Support Worker, you will work closely with our people, promoting their independence and supporting them to do the things they are passionate about.

Located in Shotgate in Wickford, The Bungalow is a welcoming residential home designed specifically for individuals with multiple and profound learning disabilities. Our five-bedded facility offers exceptional care in a warm, homely environment.

In this role you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of others, supporting them to live fulfilling lives and participate in a range of activities.

You will also be an ambassador, tailoring your approach to our people's needs and advocating to ensure their voices are heard.

About you:

- You have a genuine passion for empowering others, thinking differently and enhancing the lives of people with learning disabilities

- You have an empathetic and patient nature, with the ability to respond calmly to a variety of situations

- You embrace change and enjoy implementing new ideas

- You are willing to learn how to use technology as Microsoft Outlook and LogMyCare

- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends

As part of the Hamelin team, you will receive:

- Prior experience working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable, but full training is provided - so as long as you are passionate about supporting those with disabilities to reach their full potential, we'd love to hear from you!
