Summary
1. To educate patients and their carers in a way they can understand so they can make informed choices about their investigations 2. Demonstrate technical and/or practical skills to ensure optimum patient management including; complex patient monitoring, equipment management and administration for tests/procedures. 3. To provide nursing advise and support to the multi-disciplinary team within the department. 4. Manage expected and unexpected clinical events requiring varying levels of physical effort according to patient dependency/clinical need. 5. To act as a resource, providing support for other health care professionals within primary, community and secondary care. 6. Utilise information and IT systems to secure accurate and timely patient and resource data and maintain patient records. Ensure adherence to the IT policy. 7. Maintain and promote a clean, safe environment ensuring adherence to Trust standards of cleanliness, hygiene and Infection Control at all times. 8.
