Summary
Newstaff Employment Services working in Partnership with a global organisation of manufacturing plastic caps and closures for the packaging industry
The business employees over 200 people in a multiple shift operation supplying major blue-chip customers from well-equipped factories using high speed automated production techniques
You will be working in a fast paced, continuously, and challenging environment where a high level of delivery and details focus is required
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with FLT Counterbalance
Duties:
• Removing finished goods from the corral and booking in correctly into the warehouse
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
• Maintenance of Stock Control through the bar code system, row counts, stock takes etc
• Maintaining the supply of packing materials to the factory
• Helping to support the factory through the routine topping up of silos and day bins with raw materials
• General housekeeping of the warehouse
• Ensure all stock is correctly labelled and no damage is created during moving/loading
• Liaise with delivery drivers
Must:
• Be physically fit
• Able to read/write English and be numerically sound
• Turn up to work, want to work
• Have knowledge of bar code systems
• Have an in-date FLT Counterbalance licence

• Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm
• Will be required to work one Saturday a month 8am – 12pm
