Summary

The NCL IPMO Programme Team are hosted by University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on behalf of NCL stakeholders. The offices are based at 250 Euston Road, London. The role will require a combination of hybrid working and may require travel with NCL. Joint Formulary Committee Support the Principal Pharmacist to provide secretariat support to the Committee and manage the annual workplan. Undertake critical appraisal of new medicine applications, using published literature and data sources to assess efficacy, safety, place in therapy, unmet clinical need, patient convenience, budget impact and operational impact. Present evaluations and projects to Committee members Communicate outcomes to applicants and stakeholders. Maintain the NCL Joint Formulary website and the content of the NCL ICS Medicines Optimisation website Shared Care Group Provide secretariat support to the NCL Shared Care Group Coordinate and support the development and review of Shared Care Guidelines, Fact Sheets and the NCL Red List Evaluation and Research Contribute to NCL research and audit activity including publication of research and/or improvement initiatives. Education and training Promote and provide training on critical appraisal skills and to support the adoption of the formulary, new guidelines or pathways into routine clinical practice.
