Salonserve is a national mail-order company based in Irthlingborough. Supplying professional hair and beauty salons. Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for a warehouse operative to join our friendly team.
This is an exciting opportunity and would suit a candidate looking for a position within a warehouse environment with up to 1 years experience or someone who has many years of experience. (However, this role is more dependent on your attitude than your abilities).
The main purpose of your role is to pick and pack orders safely and securely to travel through the courier network we use. Whilst also performing other side duties such as
Loading goods onto a pallet for shipping
Using a pump pallet truck
Moving stock by hand or with a pump truck
Unloading 20 or 40ft Containers of stock by hand as part of a team
Keeping the Warehouse clean and tidy
Working Hours are 8 hours a week, Thursday 8am-4.30pm. This is a permanent position.
Required Skills:
Able to provide friendly and helpful assistance to your co-workers.
Ability to work within a team.
Be physically fit & able
Personal Qualities:
Able to communicate well.
Positive overall approach.
Hard-working with can do attitude.
