Summary
Turners (Soham) Ltd is looking to recruit a Load Builder at our depot in Quadring PE11 4PU.
The main functions of the role are:
To ensure loads are created from customer orders to maximise trailer efficiency and depart on time, to ensure deliveries are made at the correct booking time.
Accurately record all information relating to customer orders, deliveries, tray collections and product returns.
Track departures from dispatch banks and suppliers sites
Make any agreed changes to tray collections, update customers, liaise with traffic planners and managers
Provide support to the Traffic co-ordinators and Shift Manager in answering telephones and driver queries.
Load Builder is expected to liaise appropriately with drivers, customers and managers
The role may also involve some administration support with tasks such as order entry and data input.
The position is full time, working 45 hours per week Tuesday to Saturday with late morning start time
The successful candidate will need good verbal and written communication skills and be computer literate.
The Requirements:
Load building experience required
Good geographical knowledge
Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background
Excellent communication skills
Good time management
