Summary
Here at Bluebird Care Pontypool & Ebbw Vale, we pride ourselves on providing award-winning support for both our customers and staff members across South Wales.
We’re looking for compassionate, empathetic, and reliable individuals to join our team of healthcare professionals. No experience is needed as we will provide fully paid training.
All we ask, is that our Healthcare Assistants have:
A Full UK driving licence & has access to their own car.
Right to work in the UK
A commitment to working alternate weekends
As a Care Assistant, you will assist the well-being of vulnerable individuals with their daily lives in the comfort of their own homes as an alternative to residential care homes.
We offer our Care Assistants:
Pay rates: Weekdays £12.50ph & Weekends £13.00ph (full-time equivalent £28,353 plus travel)
Bank Holiday pay rates: £15.50ph
PAID travel time
PAID mileage – 35p per mile
Fully paid induction training
Choice of full-time or part-time hours
£250 refer a friend bonus
Company pension
NVQ level 2
Our Carers support with a variety of tasks including personal care, prompting & administering medication, food preparation, domestic duties and importantly providing companionship.
