We are looking for a part time ward clerk, 31 hours per week to join our team on Lavenham Ward. You will join a friendly, supportive team who is determined to make a difference to the patients.

You will actively participate as a full member of the team, assisting with the smooth running of the ward by managing the reception and administrative functions in a timely, effective and efficient way alongside Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

You will have a friendly manner, be hard working and highly motivated with good customer service skills.

You will undertake a variety of tasks and have flexibility in the days of the week worked.

If you have excellent communication skills, a professional manner and are committed to being part of a team that provides high quality care we want to hear from you.

You will undertake a variety of tasks including: using the telephone and computer, talking with patients and relatives, making
appointments and finding medical records.

You should be able to work autonomously, be able to prioritise your workload and to work well within a team. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public, both face-to-face and over the phone.
