What our client is offering for the successful Building Services Engineer - Mechanical Bias:
• Staring Basic Salary of £38,000 per annum, which will rise to £40,000 after a successful probation period
• Shift allowance of £2500
• Working hours, 7am-7pm | 7pm-7am
• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 12 hour shifts
• 22 Days holiday

The Role - Building Services Engineer - Mechanical Bias
• Undertake the maintenance and repair of the Gas, Plumbing, and Mechanical service, including fabric tasks of buildings as required under contract
• Completing planned and reactive maintenance in commercial buildings
• Completing the appropriate paperwork & reports
• Working on commercial heating & plumbing systems
• Completing service, maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown
• Supervising on-site sub-contractors
What we are looking for in the successful Building Services Engineer - Mechanical Bia
• C&G/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification - ESSENTIAL
• Current and in-date ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1 etc) - BENEFICIAL
• NVQ/City & Guilds level 3 in Plumbing - BENEFICIAL
• City & Guilds F-Gas / City & Guilds 18th Edition - BENEFICIAL
• Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment Including, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable)
• Previous experience in a similar service & maintenance role ESSENTIAL
• Proven fault finding & breakdown experience ESSENTIAL
