Summary
Bluebird Care are proud to be rated outstanding by the CQC. A rating that was awarded to us due to the way we care for both our staff and our customers.
While Bluebird Care is a national home care provider, our office is a locally owned family business, run separately to other branches.
What we do:
We're committed to keeping elderly and vulnerable people living in the comfort of their own homes, as an alternative to residential care. This means you do need to drive and have your own vehicle to work for us.
While many companies only pay care assistants for contact time, we believe you should be paid for every minute you work, so we pay for both travel time and mileage.
On average, travel time equates to 10% of your working time. Put simply, working for a company that doesn't pay travel time means you'll be unpaid for 10% of every working day.
Responsibilities of a care assistant:
- Personal care duties
- Administering medication
- Manual handling, using equipment where required
- Promoting customer health and wellbeing

- Full and valid UK driving licence
