Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver The Best Connection are recruiting for LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Drivers for our client who operates contracts in Darlington and Newton Aycliffe. They transport in various sectors including frozen, chilled, ambient and specialist logistics 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The role: Completing pre planned routes to stores or distribution centres 1 or 2 drops depending on load and location Ad hoc and full time shifts available The candidate: Valid and in date HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence, CPC & Digi Card Minimum age 23 Maximum points 6 Previous commercial Class 1 experience required Hours of work: Various start times however day runs are usually 07.00am Monday to Friday Start times may be earlier and later depending on requirements. Pay Rates:
AM Shift: £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday; £18.00 per hour Saturday & £19.00 per hour Sunday
PM Shift: £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday; £18.00 per hour Saturday & £19.00 per hour Sunday
