Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team.

You'll be responsible for servicing and minor reactive maintenance of plant rooms across various contracts, including care homes, NHS sites, and sheltered housing. This role offers excellent earning potential, with significant on-call work paid at time and a half from the moment you exceed 40 hours. You will also be paid door-to-door, meaning your time starts from the moment you leave home.

The Package

  • Job Title: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours
  • Salary: £40,500 basic per annum
  • On-Call: 1 in 6 rotation with a standby pay and Door-to-Door
  • Significant overtime opportunities
  • Working on a variety of contracts, including prestigious NHS and care home sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and minor reactive works on commercial gas systems
  • Respond to emergency call-outs as part of the on-call rota
  • Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of work carried out
  • Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction with service delivery

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Core Safety: COCN1
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
  • Gas Safe Registered
  • IPAF / PASMA certifications
  • Full UK Driving License
