Summary

South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic full time HR Recruitment and Onboarding Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join this successful team.

The role will be responsible for the co-ordination of the recruitment & selection processes including effective onboarding and induction, producing and maintaining all HR paperwork/systems that underpins our policies including processing starters, changes and assisting with correspondence.

The successful candidate will need to be highly organised and able to prioritise their workload and, ideally, have experience of helping to develop and implement improvements to processes that enhance service delivery, possess excellent customer service skills, IT literacy and the ability to problem-solve, will be amongst your key strengths. The ability to be proactive and supportive is essential, as is the understanding and application of strict confidentiality and discretion.

You'll be joining a highly supportive HR team. As such you will need to be a strong team player and willing to roll up your sleeves to support all HR activity. We are currently implementing a new HR Information System (HRIS), which requires the HR team to deliver business as usual whilst developing and implementing new operating processes, so if you thrive in a busy and varied environment, we welcome your application.

The post is based at Rodbaston and will require some occasional travel to the other campuses including Cannock, Lichfield and Tamworth.
