The School:
Join our vibrant and thriving school along the Kent coast. We are looking for a Maths teacher to join the existing team and deliver education to children with SEN and SEMH. We are an independent, specialist day school providing high quality education for secondary aged boys and girls.
The Role:
• We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic Maths department. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with students with challenging behaviour/SEMH
• Have experience/knowledge of delivery of subject specialism to GCSE level
• Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education, within SEMH settings
Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4.
• Planning, preparing, and assessing students' work to ensure exceptional progress.
• Contributing to the development of the Maths curriculum and resources.
• Collaborating with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting the school's commitment to providing personalised care, guidance, and support.
About You:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths.
• A passion for Maths and the ability to inspire a range of students.
• Ability to teach Maths at secondary level, including GCSE.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with challenging behaviour/SEMH
