Salary: £13.15 - £16.20 per hour

Location: RM1, Romford

Job Type: Full Time/ Part Time

Shifts on offer*: Monday to Sunday: Days 8am - 8pm, Nights 8pm - 8am

*Shifts Times are set times, but Monday to Sunday flexibility on offer depending on availability.

About the Role

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Healthcare Assistant within the Romford area who can support a female service user in her late 30s who has Cerebral Palsey;Global development delay has Epilepsy and a Tracheostomy in situ. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are considered more of a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within her own home and especially within the community.

Activities will include attending Day Centres, Moving and Handling, Personal Care, but most importantly, suggesting new ideas and opportunities that serve the service users' best interests, by going above and beyond.

She is non-verbal, which you will then need to communicate with her effectively and appropriately, whilst also giving her the opportunity to communicate her needs as well. You will also be given the oppurtunity to build a positive relationshoi with the Service User and her family. We are looking for someone with a big and bubbly personality who at the same time will be responsible, accountable and on the ball.

Requirements for the Role

Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
  • Complex Care experience preferred but not a mandatory need.
  • To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
