Summary
The post holder will be the regional SRO for Primary Care and Community Services The post holder will be responsible for driving the delivery of primary care development/transformation and the delivery of improved performance, efficiency, productivity and transformation in primary care. The post holder will be responsible for development of a coherent strategy for community care and the delivery of improved performance, efficiency, productivity and transformation in community services. The post holder will be responsible, at a regional level, for delivery of the primary care recovery plan. The post holder will take forward the community care related recommendations from the recent the report Operational Productivity: Unwarranted variations in mental health services and community health services. The post holder will report to the Regional Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will form a part of the COOs Executive Leadership Team. The post holder will work closely with directors across the regional team as well as with each each ICB. They will be responsible for ensuring that government, patients and the public all maintain a high level of confidence in NHS-funded community and primary care services.
