We are looking for someone to join our EPR Support team as an EPR System Support Analyst within the ICT department.
Following the implementation of the Cerner EPR solution 3 years ago, the Trust is supporting a growing number of EPR users (6000+) in using the new system and implementing new ways of working/recording data.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing Cerner Support experience to step up to this more senior support role and use your knowledge and skills to quickly assist our users and provide solutions.
The successful candidate will join the team as an EPR Support Officer monitoring the Trust’ IT service desk application for new incidents and requests.
Key tasks include:
• Supporting users via the IT Service Desk.
• Raising calls with third party suppliers.
• Maintaining the system configuration including staff, locations, wards/bed, request lists.
• Providing data quality advice.
• Good IT skills.
• Attention to detail.
• A good understanding of NHS processes and patient systems.

Day-to-day tasks will include:
• Monitoring service desk calls.
• Meeting with users or remotely reviewing issues being faced and providing resolutions/workarounds to the identified issues.
• You will work closely with the third party IT and application suppliers to escalate calls which we are unable to resolve internally.
• Understanding the importance of data security and protection is key, as you will be responsible for ensuring the relevant access is provided.
