Person Specification Education and Qualification - Essential: Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Work, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner or equivalent professional qualification in Mental Health or psychological interventions with CAMHS. OR Formal postgraduate diploma level qualification in a relevant field and knowledge of mental health. AND Substantial experience of CAMHS gained through working with children and young peoples. Evidence of recent professional development. Experience and Knowledge Essential: working with ethnically diverse communities and of working across different sectors to deliver community engagement and development, and involvement strategies/initiatives. service improvement through co-production related to mental health. networking and liaising with multiple agencies. awareness of local inequalities and the impact of inequalities faced by ethnically diverse community groups in relation to Mental Health. Able to: challenge discrimination and inequities in order to enable service change within CAMHS and influence Senior leadership. work as part of a team and work independently. meet deadlines and prioritise. develop effective partnerships and alliances in order to persuade influence and motivate others communicate with a wide range of people in order to understand and resolve a range of issues.
