Are you prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a positive outcome for your customers? Are you motivated to make a positive contribution to the lives of the people we support? If so, we really want to hear from you.

In our Complex Needs supported accommodation in Penryn our Relief Support Workers work as part of a larger Support team to provide support services to people, who have/are experiencing substance & alcohol misuse, mental ill heath, fleeing domestic abuse and any other challenging issues. This will include lone working on a regular basis and working days and weekends.

As a Support Worker, you will be working closely with other agencies around specific needs including mental health, substance misuse, benefits, private letting agents and landlords and/or others and exploring options around education, training and employment. You will need to write , review and update support plans and risk assessments and take a positive approach towards risk management.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to make a positive contribution to the lives of the people we support and a “can do” approach to their work. Experience in a similar role would be desirable, however what is most important is having a passion for helping people in the local community. This is being offered on a relief contract basis.
