Relief Leisure Assistant

Hours are offered on an as and when required basis
£13.71 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
A shift allowance will be paid for unsocial hours worked where appropriate

Relief Leisure Assistants are required to assist in carrying out the operational procedures of the KGS Sports Facilities.

Successful candidates will be expected to have a flexible approach to working hours.

You should have experience in dealing with the public and excellent customer care skills are essential. You will be required to ensure an excellent standard of cleanliness and an awareness of Health and Safety requirements is essential.

You should have a good general standard of education including literacy and numeracy, and a First Aid qualification would be an advantage. Other essential qualities include an ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.

You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
