Deputy Hospital Director (Nurse Qualified)

Salary: Up to £53,000

37.5 hours per week

We are currently looking for a passionate and highly skilled Deputy Hospital Director with a nursing qualification to play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of our client's Hospital, specialising in Learning Disability and Autism care. The ideal candidate will have a robust nursing background and a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional care while ensuring the seamless operations of the hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly impact patient outcomes and oversee the professional development of their dedicated staff.

Qualifications
  • Nursing qualification (RGN,RMN,RNLD) and a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management capacity within a mental health hospital setting or similar environment, showcasing exemplary skills in team management and performance optimization.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines in nursing, combined with a proven track record of their consistent implementation.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, essential for fostering a nurturing and efficient healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clinical and managerial leadership to our esteemed nursing team, ensuring unwavering adherence to best practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Hospital Director to develop and execute strategic plans for the facility, with a primary focus on enhancing quality and ensuring paramount patient safety.
  • Assume responsibility for the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of nursing personnel, ensuring an environment conducive to professional growth and compassionate care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures aimed at optimizing care delivery and fostering a secure, inclusive, and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional advancement among the nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of expertise and dedication to patient care.
  • Serve as a liaison between various departments to facilitate effective communication and seamless collaboration, thus ensuring streamlined operations and exceptional patient experiences.
