Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join a small team in maintaining of the electronic rostering and expenses systems throughout the Trust.
You will be required to work without direct supervision but with the support of the Rostering & ESR System Manager to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time.
The post holder will assist the Rostering & Expenses System Administrator in the Trust-wide management of e-Rostering and e-Expense solutions.
The post holder will assist the Directorate Management and Ward/Department teams in successfully supporting specific functionality of the e-Rostering system including roster creation, roster administration and roster analysis/ approval.
They will work closely with the Temporary Staffing Team supporting the Bank Staff module. The post holder will also provide support for the Expenses System.
The post is a permanent position, withinFinance Department at Vespasian House in Dorchester.
The Team in which the post sits is based in a large open plan office.
Due to monthly deadlines, we have busier periods during the month, we therefore offer Flexi working to all staff in the Team.
There is also the opportunity, once fully trained, to work from home for part of the working week if desired.
You will be required to prioritise own workload, considering the timetable in relation to payroll to ensure that issues related to pay are dealt with in a timely and effective way maintain and develop processes.
Provide cross cover with the ESR System Administrator to ensure service continuity during periods of staff absence.
Interpret policies and process for implementation on an organisation-wide basis.
Train individuals on an electronic system
You will have excellent communication skills with all levels of staff within a large organisation.
The ability to concentrate for long periods of time, often analysing complex data.
