Crynodeb

Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of NHS Staff providing them with training, advice and support. Work effectively with clinical coding staff to highlight areas of learning and improvement. Deliver the mandatory clinical coding training courses to clinical coding staff across NHS Wales. Make recommendations and where appropriate, implement the most appropriate solutions for the training needs of the Health Boards. Develop a library of e-learning modules, ensuring that complex clinical coding and medical information is communicated in an effective manner to support learning. Receive and review complex clinical information and translate the documentation into a case study for training uses. Lead the Clinical Coding Training Group, using persuasive skills to collaboratively agree on the design and scope of the e-learning programme. Advise the Classifications Standards Manager on areas for individual or specialty-based training. Develop lesson plans, course documentation, interactive material, storyboards assessments and certificates for e-learning training courses. Determine the most effective means of communicating information, including methods such as group forums, case discussions and newsletters. Assist in the evaluation of training delivered and respond to user queries in a pleasant, timely and accurate manner. Develop, maintain and analyse on-line questionnaires and surveys to assess user training requirements.
