Summary
`Receptionist/ Chiropractic Assistant
Role suited to an outgoing individual who is comfortable with receptionist/admin duties and who is looking for a fun and interesting place to work. Applicant must be happy working Thursdays, including Thursday evenings (often until 8pm).
We are advertising for the role of a front of house receptionist/Chiropractic assistant within our busy, friendly, family centered Chiropractic Clinic based in Taibach, Port Talbot. Our clinic has 3 Chiropractors offering Chiropractic treatment but also offers alternative services such as Shockwave Therapy, Food Intolerance testing and Laser Therapy meaning it is a fun and interesting place to work.
**We also treat dogs at our clinic and have designated treatment and rehab rooms rooms so there will regularly be dogs and occasionally other animals visiting the clinic, therfore the applicant MUST be happy welcoming and interacting with dogs and their owners**
The role will be circa 8/9 hours a week worked over a split shift on a Thursday. This will include evenings so applicants must be happy working into the evenings on a Thursday. Occasionally the applicant may be asked to cover other days for holidays/sickness.
The role will involve using a computer and computer system to make appointments, change appointments, receive payments, send invoices and more. The applicant will need to be happy and familiar using a computer. Full training for our system will be provided.
The role involves answering and making phone calls (as requested by the clinicians) routinely so the applicant must be happy using and speaking on a telephone.
The role will involve lots of welcoming of patients visiting the clinic with a lot of talking, chatting and interaction with all types of people (and dogs) so the role is most suited to a confident individual who is a people person and enjoys interacting.
Full training will be provided prior to starting so the applicant will be comfortable and fully prepared.
