Crynodeb

You will be the administrative lead for participating RAF students on HE schemes, specifically:
You will be responsible for the administration of Advanced Pre-Employment Training (APET) and Advanced Professional Military Development (Higher Education) (APMD (HE)). APET posts require specific knowledge/skills that require attendance at university before posting into the role. Working with Career Managers, requirement owners, students, Defence Academy and universities, you will capture all activity to ensure students have completed their studies in time for posting into the APET role.
You will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Executive Masters Degree scheme. This will include managing students throughout their part-time studies, preparing documentation for the RAF selection Board and regular liaison with students, Career Management, Professions Advisors, Defence Academy and Cranfield University. You will also be responsible for maintaining the master spreadsheet of activity.
Other activity related to the post may include participation in the selection of courses for the tri-Service prospectus which you will be responsible for, day to day administration of RAF and Civil Service students via the DLE, selection of students, issuing joining instructions and RAF point of contact for any participating universities.
You will support the Assurance Visit process when required by carrying out a 10% check of learning credits via e-Dossier, attending the location as part of the visiting team, liaising with the appropriate staff to clarify any points raised as a result of your check and covering elements of the report process for and on behalf of the author.
You will provide cover for the Learning Credits Administrator in times of absence, dealing with RAF Veterans who wish to utilise Enhanced Learning Credits. Working with the individual, Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service and TSLD you will process applications in accordance with the current policy. Further, cover for the Military Aviation Academy Scheme Administrator during times of absence. This will include admin tasks related to student registrations and providing management information for upward reporting.
You may also be responsible for supporting aspects of contract activity, annual costing and associated financial activity using the Contracting, Purchasing and Finance (CP&F) system, including data gathering during contract periods and supporting the production of the annual contract monitoring report.
