About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a credible and trusted HR and OD professional to join our friendly, enthusiastic HR team in an interesting and varied role as our Head of Human Resources. Our team’s vision is to provide an efficient, high quality and customer focused HR Service, supporting the Salford City Colleges Group in attracting, recruiting, developing, & retaining the best talent, as well as further enhancing the College as a great place to work.
We are seeking a personable, professional, and dedicated individual with strong leadership skills and experience in developing and managing HR processes, policies, and procedures. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee a team that includes two HR Business Partners, a Senior HR Assistant, and three HR Assistants. The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on problem solver, with high levels of attention to detail, and the capability and experience of managing staff and actively managing the daily operations of the department.
You will be CIPD qualified and have expertise as a Senior HR and OD professional, preferably within an educational setting. Equally important is your passion for nurturing staff potential in alignment with our strategic goals.
