Mitre House is a small residential care home in Pollok where we support five adults who have a learning disability and, in some cases, associated physical disabilities.
Hi there! I’m J and I live at Mitre House with 4 other wonderful people, all of us with learning disabilities and some with physical disability. We’re looking for someone special to join our nightshift team, someone who’ll be there when we need a bit of reassurance or just a friendly face in the night.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Keeping our home clean and tidy while we sleep, so everything’s fresh in the morning.
- Helping us out if we wake up, offering support and comfort if we need it.
- Taking care of important paperwork during the night.
- In the mornings, you’ll assist 2 of us with getting ready for the day ahead.

Who we’re looking for:
- Someone who’s confident and caring, with a big smile and a positive attitude.
- You’ll need to work well on your own during the night, but also be part of our amazing team.
- Enthusiasm and patience are a must—we love people who can bring a calm and friendly energy.

This is a wakened night shift role, meaning you’ll be awake the whole night to make sure everything’s running smoothly and we feel safe and supported.

Why you’ll love working here:
- We’re a tight-knit, welcoming bunch, and you’ll be a key part of our lives.
- The work is so rewarding—you’ll make a real difference to us every single day.
- Great team support, and the chance to grow in your role.

If you think you’d enjoy working with us, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and become part of our team!
